Pete Miller graduated as an actor in 1986 from the 3 year fulltime Diploma of Drama course held at the Drama Studio, Sydney.
He was a featured actor on many television shows such as “A Country Practise” and singer in large-scale musicals such as “South Pacific” that toured the world.
Before he became full-time professional corporate MC, he worked for many years as a compere for the worlds largest retail chains, Westfield.
After winning the prestigious "MC of the Year" prize from the Australian Bridal Industry Awards, Pete was asked to supply 1st class wedding MCs for top ranking hotels and venues.
This book grew out of the need to train and attain a very high level of skill with the MCs that were booked through "A WEDDING MC HOTLINE" http://weddingmc.com.au
While still acting, Peter found that his skills were helpful to others outside the sphere of drama. He began teaching presentation techniques to executives who had been cast in their companys corporate videos or required to speak at the industry conference.
Today he coaches and writes about public speaking while still performing as a corporate Master of Ceremonies, compere, and presenter.
He is the author of UP FRONT IN CONTROL, 5 EASY STEPS TO A FANTASTIC VOICE, and INSTANT MC.
